Retro Pc Case

Retro Pc Case - I found a pretty cool c64 case but would prefer something that looks like a console. Nes, atari, whatever, just want it to look kinda retro (and not like a computer, stereo, dvd player, or a modern xbox/ps4/5 whatever). A chenbro case, ibm server case, and an alienware. I had not built myself a new pc in 10 years, and i had planned to build one around the end of 2020. Atx is the standard all modern motherboards are built to, with a standard back panel cutout for onboard connectors. I modified the case several months ago to look like an early 90's beige pc. But be aware that there are lots of potential labor works involved to make everything compatible and look good (cutting, drilling, wielding, sanding, painting). Atx has been around for 20 years, so if the old case you get is atx, you'll be fine. Yeah op's best bet is to reuse old pc's case. All three of mine have been circa 2006.

Occasionally i might see early 2000s cases on ebay too, if. The first two i got from the trash for free, the latter from fb marketplace. That turned out to be less than ideal, but i made it happen. At was the original pc. A chenbro case, ibm server case, and an alienware.
