Refined Quartz Stardew

Refined Quartz Stardew - How do you purify minerals? I more or less got most of my skills maxed and my farm is in pretty decent shape, but i can't expand too much because i'm having a tough time farming refined quartz for quality sprinklers. So, i didn’t even realize you could make refined quartz in my first farm for a really long time. Either an acid bath in irl but the doesnt have that so. I Mean It Pretty Obivious It In The Name, Refined Quartz, Refined It Implies You Need To Purify It.
